alleged victim of scam that is affecting senior citizens in the valley of texas, letticia perez.

  • Letty Carmona Went out sum one broke my window and lost my keys i left in table and somebody picked them up..
  • Leticia Letty Perez Garzoria Sorry about that ( when bad things happen to good people) : I had my Jeep stolen from my church's parking lot! God was certainly testing my faith there. I never recovered my Jeep but God in his mercy rewarded me generously by having me receive an unexpected check in the mail from another source and I was able to purchase a car and pay it cash from the dealership! The Lord rewards our faith and finds a way to bless us directly! I could n't believe his love for his daughter Letty Don't lose faith .. he is testing your faith as he did mine!!! Bendiciones !

Earlier this morning reporters for Channel Four News gave notice of a mail scam that prey on the gullible and the old citizens that reside in Cameron County.  A resident of the area of Harlingen received a letter on the mail claiming he was the winner of 50,000 dollars but this man was "nobody fool" as Channel Four News reported, he went ahead and investigate the contents of the letter and contacted authorities for over a week till they were able to assure him that in fact, it was a scam that basically would have left his bank account in negative if he did not had the wisdom that old age gives you and a certain inkling that it was too good to be true.

Facebookers read the story and contacted DOSFRIAS stating that political candidate and activist Leticia Letty Perez Garzorias was also a victim of the scam because some days ago she posted in her FB page how she also cashed in an enormous check "from an unknown source" and was able to purchase a vehicle that was stolen from IGLESIA BAUTISTA DEL VALLE parking lot and that god had send her the money that was also a scam to help her alleviate the burden and purchase an automobile.

Miss Letty Cameron County Residents deserve to know the truth! Would you go ahead and talk to investigators so others victims of mail related scams can also get enough money to alleviate their financial hardships?? IS IGLESIA BAUTISTA DEL VALLE ALSO going to help investigators of the BPD?

BPUB To set a standard fee for all Cameron County Residents starting May 2014

Tenaska Enterprises one of the Nations largest independent creators of Electrical Generated Power and the Brownsville Public Utilities Board in collaboration with Tony Martinez have decided to set a standard fee to all the residents of Cameron County Texas that will be effective starting May 2015.   The fee of 323 dollars plus interest is going to be charged to all the residents that have a contract with Brownsville Public Utilities Board and is going to go on effect starting May 2015.  Mayor Martinez stated that with this nominal fee the residents will help with the construction and expanding of this colossal project that will eventually help the community atract major companies that have shown interest in the area but that are easily spooked when they are told that the City of Brownsville does not have the money to build such monumental infrastructure to supply their needs of electrical and water usage.

Tony Martinez stated in the month of February that BPUB will offer their waters services and will dig a trench to the local city of Edinburgh to supply Tenaska with needed gas and water needed for the generators that will be providing the city with much needed electrical power.

All residents of the area including marginal colonias will be charged the standard fee and residents that are enrolled in SNAP benefits MEDICAID will be asked to pay an extra 3 dollars in their bill.  Most residents are opossed to the idea stating that some of the households in the area are so poo r that they don't even own a/c or have windows units and they are not going to feel comfortable paying the fee.  Other residents stated that Brownsville is the poorest city of the nation, people are locally registered in food banks and receive food stamps and are not willing or able to pay the fee of over 300 dollars a month.

Mayor Martinez says that this fee will only last the next five years, until the completion of the plant and that it will attract major enterprises and that he will try and collaborate with local agencies to help the residents that are behind on payments or are not going not to be able to pay up the standard fee starting next year.

Captain's Mcurry is not the owner of HOTEL EL JARDIN, it was all a HOAX Martinez Family Spokesperson states on Facebook Page.

It seems the gentle folk on an old town that collides with the Rio Grande River have been taken advantage of again and now by a character who calls himself Captain Mcurry, that stated some weeks ago that he had purchased EL JARDIN HOTEL, an abandoned huge structure that sits in downtown Brownsville and that has been in the news in the past few years when the Martinez family and important politicians of Cameron County intended to demolish the building and donate it to the now extinct University of Texas at Brownsville.

Doroteo Canales, stated in his FB page that Captain Mcurry never purchased the building or tried to purchased the building in the month of February as some of his Facebook pages stated and some of the local newspapers at the time fell for the hoax going to the length of interviewing him several times without knowing the facts of talking to the Martinez brothers that own the building since 1987.

"Este Capitan nos ha visto la cara a todos los residentes de el Valle al proponer ideas de como re-establecer el edificio, diciendo que lo iba a arreglar y hasta hizo una huelga de hambre!, esta persona nunca compro el edifcio y dice que nos dio dinero pero eso no es cierto!"  a member of the Martinez family stated this on his facebook page earlier this week, when local media and local politicians like YOLANDA BEGUM, LETY GARCIA and several others influential members of the Brownsville Community visited and offered support to the Captain when he is staying in the decrepit building and endured a hunger strike for over two days.

The Martinez family wants to state that this person did talked to them in the month of January he wanted to see if he could stage a documentary using the city of Brownsville, and their old building but he failed to provide money for renting it and abused his friendship with the rightful owners of the Historic JARDIN HOTEL.
